Nous Leadership ("we", "us", "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains how we collect, use and protect your personal information when you visit nousleadership.com or engage our services.

We comply with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018. As we work with clients globally, we take care to handle data in line with applicable regulations across jurisdictions.

Who we are

Nous Leadership is operated by Katrin Charlton, based in West Sussex, England. For any privacy-related questions, contact katrin@nousleadership.com.

What we collect
  • Contact details you provide (name, email, phone, organisation)

  • Information shared during coaching engagements, where applicable and with consent

  • Calendly booking data when you schedule a conversation

  • Website usage data through standard analytics cookies

How we use your information
  • To respond to enquiries and schedule conversations

  • To deliver coaching, supervision and other contracted services

  • To send relevant communications, only with your consent

  • To comply with legal and professional obligations

Confidentiality of coaching work

Coaching engagements are governed by strict confidentiality, in line with ICF ethical standards. Content shared during sessions is not disclosed to third parties without explicit consent, except where required by law or where there is a serious risk of harm.

Lawful basis for processing

We process personal data under the lawful bases of consent, contract performance, and legitimate interests (running the business and serving clients well).

How we store and protect your data

Data is stored securely on encrypted, password-protected systems. We use reputable providers (including Calendly, Google Workspace and our website host) who maintain appropriate technical and organisational security measures.

How long we keep data

We retain client records for as long as required for the engagement and for a reasonable period afterwards in line with HMRC and professional record-keeping requirements (typically 7 years). Enquiry data is deleted within 24 months unless an active engagement begins.

International transfers

As we work with clients globally, some data may be transferred outside the UK or EEA. Where this happens, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place, including Standard Contractual Clauses where applicable.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or port your personal data, and to object to processing. To exercise any of these rights, contact katrin@nousleadership.com.

You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk) if you believe your data has been mishandled.

Cookies

This website uses essential cookies to function and analytics cookies to understand how visitors use the site. You can manage cookie preferences via your browser settings.
